IP.SUBNET

Description

This parameter is used to set the IP subnet mask of the drive when IP.MODE is set to 1 for static IP. It determines the IP addresses with which the drive can communicate.

Examples

Usage

IP.SUBNET is only used when IP.MODE = 1. When setting up the drive with static IP, IP address must be set using IP.ADDRESS and subnet mask must be set using IP.SUBNET. The IP.RESET command can be used to apply the specified IP settings.

Code

Set drive to use static IP of 192.168.0.1

--> IP.MODE 1
--> IP.ADDRESS 192.168.0.1
--> IP.SUBNET 255.255.255.0
--> IP.RESET

Context

For more information on IP configuration, see Finding and Connecting to a Device.
